I asked God to wake me before my alarm this morning, and for Holy Spirit to fill me with His energy so I would be able to spend more time alone with Him before starting my day. He is so faithful! As a matter of fact the Word tells us that anything we ask in His name, He will give us. I have heard people twist that verse so many times, and then get mad at God when they don't get their way. The truth is that this promise is made to those whose hearts are in complete alignment with His. The only way to be in true alignment with Him is to completely submit to Him! Now it is longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me. And why wouldn't the Father want to give the desires of the Son?! When we desire things that are outside of God's will for our lives, then we are having desires of the flesh. Even if they are disguised as desires of the Spirit. The evil one is crafty and will whisper things in your ear that might sound right, but just are not in alignment with the Father. Remember Jesus' 40 days in the desert? The evil one quoted "near scriptures" to Him, and at times quoted exact scripture twisted to his selfish desires. Unfortunately, that is the way most of the western world churches are today, and then people wonder why God isn't blessing "their" ministries. Quit getting it twisted!!!
We pray for revival, but fail to realize
that revival begins inside of us!!!
There is no room for interpretations of the scriptures! There is only one true meaning, and we are called to have only one Teacher. That is the Holy Spirit! That does not speak against the five-fold ministry. You must take everything you hear or see back to the Word that is confirmed by the Spirit! If you have truly died to self then the Spirit is alive and active inside of you, and the scriptures come alive! You see things you never saw before, and understand the things that always brought confusion. Confusion is from the devil! There are so many verses that, for years, I thought to mean something completely contrary to what the Spirit now tells me they mean! Everything has become so clear!
My eyes are open!
The lies I have been fed for years, although my teachers had good intentions and were just deceived, now sound completely ridiculous. The Spirit is contrary to the flesh, and what seems right to man leads to death. These are very slippery slopes we are playing on people!!! It's time to sacrifice your lives completely!!! What are you holding back for?!?! Do you enjoy fight against the flesh?!?! Do you enjoy the constant battle with sin?!?! Do you enjoy striving to be a "good christian"?!?! Stop trying and just give up!!! Give up to the One who created you, and become what you were created to be!!!
You weren't made for the life you're living!!!
That's why its so hard!!!
You were created in His image as sons and daughters, and made to be in constant fellowship with the Father, under His protection. He can't protect you if you won't submit everything to Him. There is no such thing as being on the fence!!! The devil owns the fence!!! Jesus is not a jerk that forces His way into your life!!! He is a gentleman that is patiently waiting for you to let Him all the way in. Not just one foot so you can say you "let Him in"! Not just peek-a-booing His head through your door so you can say you've "seen His face". Certainly not just His hand so you can take the blessings without receiving all of Him! Let Him in completely and feel the freedom of being all that you were meant to be! Let Him cleanse you from everything and rise up a brand new creation, one without guilt or a miry past. It's time to let go of the sin that so easily entangles you and run with perseverance the race that lies ahead.
Jesus loves you, and so do I!!!
