Is Victory Possible?

Many of you reading this have heard my testimony in detail, but for those who haven't, I need to give some back story. From the time I was sixteen, up until 2 years ago when I got born again (15 years), I was a hard core alcoholic. I would drink on a daily basis to the point of absolute inebriation. When I heard something that upset me, no matter how small, I would drink an entire bottle of southern comfort. Just to unwind at the end of my day I would drink a twelve pack of beer or a bottle of wine...alone! Since I received the gift of redemption, I can honestly say that the only alcohol that has touched my tongue is maybe four times that I was served communion with real wine. Possibly 4 oz of alcohol in the last 2 years! Some may think that I'm being legalistic, or that I'm avoiding something because of the power that it once had over me out of fear, but the Truth is that alcohol is absolutely no temptation to me any longer! Why would I want to put anything in my body that can even minutely temporarily numb me to His voice? Why would I need to put something in my body that has destroyed so many? Is there any purpose? I am so in love with Holy Spirit, that His very presence within me is intoxicating!

For those same fifteen years I was addicted to various drugs, everything from marijuana to crack/cocaine! In the last 2 years since Jesus possessed my life, I have not had one single desire for any of those substances! Does that mean that the enemy doesn't attempt to make it look alluring by flaunting people in front of me that appear to be enjoying their lives while high? Of course he does! The enemy will forever try to use people's pasts against them to try and ensnare them back in old lies, but the Truth is that when you know the love of Christ and the freedom that it brings, the lies have absolutely no voice whatsoever!!! I can, out of no where, smell pot near by, and the enemy jumps on it, "doesn't that smell good? You want that don't you?" My immediate response, without a second thought is," Thank You Daddy that the only fragrance that is appealing to me is the fragrance of Christ! The only high I desire is the Most High God!" I don't rebuke the devil and tell him to shut up! I don't panic that there is some unremoved root of sin still within me! I confess the Truth that God says about me, and live victoriously in the freedom He has given me without even giving it a second thought!

These are only two examples out of the many areas I have personally been set free! The same freedom and victory have been given to you! Anything that has been given a voice in your life is stripped of its power! The Word says My sheep know My voice, and the voice of a stranger they will not follow! You are those sheep and Jesus is your Shepard! Any other voice that tries to whisper or even shout need not be followed! Know the voice of Truth and let the Truth set you free!

Setting the Record Straight

I just need to get something straightened out for those who may be having some false beliefs. Just because I have a ridiculous grasp on grace, does not mean I have a greater anointing on my life than anyone else! Just because I read my Bible and take it at face value, stepping out in everything that it says, does not mean I have greater faith than anyone else is capable of! We are ALLLLLLL children of God!!! We ALLLLLLL have the same Father, the same Savior, and the same Spirit!!! Whether you've chosen to accept that fact or not!
My husband, children, and I will publicly declare on a regular basis that we have "The best life EVERRRRR!!!" Does this mean we have it easy? That we don't face problems on a regular basis? HAHAHAHA!!! Just the thought of that is ridiculous! We face huge trials, abundant persecution, and daily disasters. Does that define us? Absolutely not!!! What's written in the Book of Life defines us! What our Creator says about us and the image that He created us in, defines us! This is not about manifestations! This is not about where we've been, or what we've seen, or who we've met! It's about WHO we know and WHO we're known by, and that can be exactly the same for each and every single person alive on this earth! All that people need to do is give themselves fully to the thing they claim to believe in! Believe what you say you believe, and let your life be a reflection of that belief!
I used to feel a very strong pull to get out of America and reach the lost nations of the world, but the more I travel and minister in America, the more I realize this is the most lost nation of the world! The US has the highest population of self-proclaimed Christians, and the most religious freedom, yet Bibles are covered in dust buried only God knows where in most homes! Less than 1% of the American population claims to have moved in signs and wonders! Most "Christians" in this country consider it their duty to go to church. And heaven forbid they be obvious about their faith and get persecuted!
Persecution in this country is a joke! I know, I get it all the time! All it is, is a defamation of character and social ostracism! We're not getting martyred or beaten!
Come onnnnnn!!! Are we seriously willing to live less than the cross paid for because we won't be accepted?! I have literally gone from having the biggest, most loving, supportive family, to having only our parents, my brother, and my grandmother! And the only one out of that group that accepts what I live for most of the time is my mother. The rest love me despite my apparent insanity as long as it doesn't conflict with them or make them uncomfortable! I've lost hundreds of friends! A great majority of them are "Christians"! Do you think I'm going to let that stop me? Do you think man's option of me is going to slow me down! That's absurd!!! There are people dying...physically, emotional, mentally, and spirituality....and I'm going to let my social reputation sway me from bringing them hope and a future?! Heck Noooooooo!!! I love wayyyyyyy to much to let that happen!!!
So it all comes down to that! What do you believe? Who do you love? Will you lay your life down so you can receive the "Best life EVERRRRR!", or will you settle for good enough? Will you settle for status quo and social acceptance? The choice is yours, but I pray you...

My Burning Heart

As my husband and I encounter increasingly abundant persecution these days, my heart burns with a yearning to see these people set free! I'm not yet to a place where I feel 100% unoffendable, nor can I say that I don't feel hurt, but knowing the difference between feeling sorry for myself, and feeling hurt for the one who is attacking me has been an increasingly valuable revelation to have! The enemy would love to twist these attacks and make it all about Marvin and I, but the truth is, love sees no bounds! Love doesn't hurt for itself, or cry out for justice, but instead cries out for forgiveness for the one that is trapped in a false identity! Love cries out,"Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!" My heart burns to see the people of my extended family set free from the torture of this world, to know a Savior who brings comfort, direction, and purpose, and to be able to distinguish between lies and truth, that the Truth would set them free! Holy Spirit promised me two years ago, when I cried out to Him in a hotel in Colorado Springs, that I would see the salvation of my loved ones! What I'm seeing today looks exactly the polar opposite of that promise, but I refuse to get discouraged! I refuse to believe that what I'm seeing is the truth, because I choose to live by faith, not sight!
So, here I sit, knowing that I've lost nearly everyone I've ever held close to my heart, but somehow the tears that flow from my eyes are not tears of loss, they are tears that cry out, "Father forgive them! Show them Your endless, matchless love! Bless them beyond their wildest imaginations! Set them free, that they may be one with You and know the comfort of a Father!"
This life is not our own, Church! We were bought at a very high price! To lose everything for the kingdom, for the freedom of the Gospel to be brought to the nations, means to find our lives! As I told my husband last night, that we are once again unable to spend time with another group of my family, I balled my eyes out! In his amazing love, he attempted to comfort my aching heart, only to realize that my only reaction is,
I didn't sign up for this gospel to conform and be a people pleaser, or to set my morals aside to make people more comfortable about being around me. I signed up to bring a sword, and eventually that sword will set them free! I signed up to lose everything! 
This may not sound pleasant to those of you reading this, but it's the reality of the Gospel! I will not compromise the Truth, and I can not shut this thing down....I love far too much to let that happen! I will continue to be as He is in this world! Love knows no loss, because love NEVER fails!

"I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH MY LIFE!"

It seems to be more and more frequently that I encounter people saying that they are very dissatisfied with their life, or the things that are occurring within their life. Due to the connection that I have with my Father, I know that this brings His heart great sadness. The one and only reason that people would be dissatisfied with their life, is because they lack revelation of who they are, and what their purpose is on this earth. It is a great weight on my heart to see this thing exposed, and bring the truth of identity and purpose to the world! I long to see the day when people are joyful! I long to see the day when people are peaceful! I long to see the day when people realize the freedom that they truly can live in! I've been told,"Amber you'll never see that happen outside of heaven!" The truth remains, if I stop for the one in front of me, if I share His love with the one in front of me, if I make the time in my busy schedule to love someone's life more than my timetables... I will see it happen in this lifetime! One person at a time!

The Bible starts out in the book of Genesis with, "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", but what happened before God created the heavens and the earth? Before the earth was created, God existed outside of time with His angelic hosts. God created three angelic hosts to be the top overseers of all things in heaven. These top angels were Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer. Lucifer, was a very beautiful angel, who was the leader of all worship in heaven. At this time, angels had free will. Lucifer believed that he could be just like God, and so he caused a revolt in the heavens. God sent Lucifer, and all of the fallen angels who chose to follow Lucifer, to the earth. They were sentenced to wander around aimlessly until they reached their final destiny of burning in a lake of fire for all of eternity. God then created man in His own image, to be "mini-mes", with all authority over earth and the fallen angels (Lucifer aka satan aka the devil, and all the demons). Man was made in God's image to be in perfect relationship with God as His counterpart, to take dominion over all of the earth, to stomp on the devil's head, and to make Lucifer wish that he had never done what he had done. When Adam and Eve ate of the tree, they caused the fall of man. God had warned man that if he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, that he would surely die. God had to give man the free will to choose to love and obey Him, just like He did for the angels. He wasn't going to force man to love and obey Him. The devil knew that if man ate from the tree, he wouldn't die physically, but he would die spiritually. The enemy's plan is to replicate himself in the minds of all of mankind, so that he can destroy as many as possible in the destruction that he himself will receive. The enemy is depressed, he is angry, he is anxious, he is without worth or purpose, and he wants to make as many people as possible think that they have the exact same destiny as him. Misery loves company. he is completely jealous of all of mankind, because they are more like God than he ever could be. So, Adam and Eve ate the tree, their minds were filled with the knowledge of evil, and they became eternally separated from God (dead). But the story doesn't end there! That is NOT where we have to live! God relentlessly pursued man! He gave man opportunity after opportunity after opportunity to turn away from the knowledge of evil and be reconciled back to God! Unfortunately, because the mind of man was so fallen from the nature of God, they were completely incapable of following God fully. God wanted them to be restored back to Him soooooooooo badly, he had to do something drastic! He sent His One and only Son, Jesus, to fulfill every requirement, and to die on the cross as sin itself, so all of mankind could be restored back to Him! When Jesus died on the cross, He took the sin of the world! All of it! Past, present, and future! He took it all upon on Himself, and rendered it powerless, so that those who believe in Him, who accept this free gift of salvation, can be fully restored back to the image of God, without the grip sin! Jesus's life on this earth, was to be the example of how we can live. He did it to show us what a person fully restored back to the image of God is capable of! Because of our faith in His sacrifice, we who believe, are fully restored back to the image of God! There is nothing we can ever do or say to make us more whole then Jesus already did for us! He has made us completely justified, just as if we never ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil! Sin has lost its grip, death has lost its sting, and evil has lost its power in our lives! God loved the world so much that He gave! He gave because YOU ARE WORTH IT! He gave us the right to be sons of God! He gave us the ability to live with His Spirit inside of us, empowering us, teaching us, comforting us, leading us! He gave us the ability to live lives marked with victory, joy, peace, and love! We get to live EXACTLY LIKE JESUS...AND GREATER!!! No longer do we live under the law, or a Romans 7 lifestyle! We are free!
Just let that hit your heart for a moment.
Holy Spirit I just welcome You to completely wreck the person that's reading this blog right now! Wreck them to this world, so that they are so heavenly minded that they are earthly amazing! Plant a seed in their hearts right now that shows them just how amazing they truly are! Let Your tangible love just wrap around them right now, God that they would just know how much they are loved! Father I thank You that as they are coming to a place of softened hearts and repentance, that Lord, You would just bring them a total transformation through the renewing of their mind! Daddy I thank You for breaking off every lie, every chain, and every bondage that has snared them for so long! Holy Spirit we just invite you to completely indwell the reader and to bring them complete and total freedom! Share with them the reality of sonship! Right now we just command every depression, every anxiety, every addiction, every feeling of worthlessness, every feeling of helplessness, every sickness, every disease, every pain, every deterioration, anything that's marked by death or evil or darkness, we command you go right now in Jesus' name! I just speak to the body of the person who's reading this right now and command it to come into alignment with the will of God in Jesus' name! I speak to the mind of the person that's reading this and command it to be renewed according to the will of God in Jesus' name! Daddy I thank You that this will be a people that will be marked by freedom, joy, peace, victory, and love in Jesus' name! Amen!

#Breakingchainsofreligiousbondage

One of my very best friends recently posted a status that I want to address anonymously so that I can lovingly break a religious teaching off of the Church!
The post stated, "When YOU are going through something hard and wonder where GOD is , remember the teacher is always quiet during a test."
It sounds like wisdom! Unfortunately, my friend is not alone. Many have fallen into this teaching that prevents them from knowing and experiencing the fullness of love for and from God, myself included at one time! If we truly believe that God puts us through extremely hard things and then sits by quietly as we struggle through them, then how could we ever really love and trust Him? We could rationalize that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts greater than our thoughts (Isaiah 55), but that's old testament! Right now, New Covenant, we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2)! Here's the Truth... Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.(James 1:13) The word used here for tempt is from the Greek, πειρáζω (peirazō), which in part is defined as "to try, make trial of, TEST: for the purpose of ascertaining his quality, or what he thinks, or how he will behave himself". You see, Church, God does not test His new covenant Bride! Any tests or trials that we face are put before us by the enemy! The Lord, in all of His amazingness, never leaves us or forsakes us (Hebrews 13), but He's always there to aid and encourage us through the tests and trials placed before us by the enemy! He is able to use all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8)!
God also does not "allow" us to be tested or tried! This lie is from the pit of hell and also blocks us from knowing and experiencing the love of God fully! If we believe that God allows satan to kill our love ones, or to give us cancer, or to let us get hit by a train, etc. then how could we ever love anyone so vindictive? Here's the Truth in a nutshell... The devil and all his minions messed up and got cast out of heaven(Revelation 12), God created the earth (Genesis 1), put a bunch of mini Me's on the earth (God said let US make man in OUR image ~Genesis 1), God gave us all authority to crush the works of the devil (Luke 10), the enemy is the prince of this world (John 16, Ephesians 2) and doesn't need God's permission to hit man, but if he does, we get to thump him and destroy hell for a living! We have the Spirit of the Living God inside of us! The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead (Romans 8)! If we believe this, I mean truly believe this, then the enemy has absolutely no room to work in our lives! The tests and trials can be considered all joy (James 1) because when they come, we get to practice sonship and exercise the authority we've been given, realizing we are not on an even playing field with the devil, but rather we are looking down on the situation from our throne (Ephesians 2) where we are seated in heavenly places at the right hand of our Daddy!
Know your Father! Know your authority! Know your position!

Intimacy Part I

With my wedding just months away, the Lord has really been taking me deeper into what intimacy truly is. In my old life, if I would have heard the word intimacy, I would have immediately thought sex. I may have at some point stretched the definition to match Hollywood's, with a candle light dinner or a walk on the beach. While all these things can be good, in the right context, intimacy is something far greater!

Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

God, the Uncreated One, was around before the existence of time. He, being social in nature (Father, Son, and Spirit), desired a counterpart to share His love with. He chose to create mankind in His image (Genesis 1:27) by breathing life into him. God took His very nature, a piece of Himself, and put it into man. God looked at  the object of His affection, mankind, and saw it was very good (Genesis 1:31). Then the Lord looked upon man and decided it was not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18). How did God come to this conclusion? He knew that man would long for an object of affection on which to let his love rest, because man was created in the image of God, thus having the same feelings as God! Man, before he was deceived, was incapable of having any feelings outside of the nature of God Himself.

Genesis 2:20b-23 But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, He took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’for she was taken out of man.”

This is entirely symbolic of how the Lord made a "suitable helper" for Himself. We, mankind, were taken out of God to be His "suitable helper" or object of His affection. 

Genesis 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Matthew 19:4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

The entire concept behind marriage is defined here. They are no longer two, but one flesh. God took woman out of man, they marry, consummate, and the two once again become one!

Stay with me here...this is where is gets good!!!

At the fall, man chose the sinful nature over the godly nature. Throughout the Old Testament God is pleading with mankind to choose Him again. He is showing them how the fallen nature is death, and just how far they have fallen from the perfection that He designed them for and wants to restore them to. He pursues them relentlessly, just as a man would pursue the woman he is madly in love with, only without limit or flaw. Then God allowed man to experience a foreshadowing of the depth of His love.

Genesis 22:1-8 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”

“Here I am,” he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”

“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.”

So often people read this story and get irate. "How could a God who is love ask a man to kill his son?" What we fail to see is that God was never going to allow Isaac to be sacrificed in the first place! "God Himself will provide the Lamb...!" The Lord let mankind see a glimpse into the pain involved when a father sacrifices his one and only son! Abraham was to be the father of many nations, and all nations were to be blessed through him (Genesis 17:4, 18:18), because through his genealogy came the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Messiah, and Savior... Jesus (Matthew 1:1-17)! There was no other way to redeem His fallen bride! The Lord had to do something drastic!

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

The Lord sent His one and only Son to redeem His lost bride! He could not stand the thought of eternity without her, so He gave her the chance to take on a new life with Him the same way He gave her the first life....

John 19:33-34 But when they came to Jesus and found that He was already dead (sleeping), they did not break His legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side (opened His side, by His ribs) with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 

(parenthesis notes added by me for the elaboration of this revelation) 

Jesus was pierced in His side to symbolize the last Adam bringing forth life for His bride. He was willing to die for her! You know, the dreamy sought after prince on a white horse that would lay down his life for the woman he loves...eh eh ehm...that's Jesus!!! Only death couldn't hold Him down! He rose again, and went to His bride, beginning with the disciples.

John 20:22 And with that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

With the releasing of the Holy Spirit into the disciples, through the breath of life, the two had again become one! These faithful men wanted all that the Lord had to give them, and they received Him!

Now it's our turn! Your Bridegroom has been relentlessly pursuing intimacy with you since before you were even born! Will you stop running, and allow Him to become one with you? Will you receive the breath of life that He has for you? The life that only He can give! The choice is yours...
